Modesto City Schools Sunsetting COVID Sunsetting Funds Timeline 2024-2025
Due to the impact of COVID-19, Modesto City Schools received funding from state and federal programs designed to enhance student outcomes and address the challenges posed by the pandemic. Beginning in the 2022-2023 academic year, some of these funds have already been reduced, while others are allocated for use over the next three years.
As a result, Modesto City Schools will continue to phase out COVID-19-related programs gradually over the next two years. During this period, the District will initiate a process to evaluate and determine which programs and services will be discontinued for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years.
