Dear 8th Grade Parent/Guardian,
Your child’s eighth-grade science class will soon begin a unit on comprehensive sexual health and HIV/AIDS. We would like to invite you to attend a virtual presentation of the curriculum that will be used for this unit.
Modesto City Schools has adopted the Teen Talk health curriculum, which has been carefully designed to provide age-appropriate and relevant information for eighth-grade students. Our goal is to approach these topics objectively and responsibly, encouraging open communication between students and their parents, guardians, or other trusted adults about what they learn during the lessons.
